This course has been developed to help you understand one of Australia’s key digital health products – My Health Record.
The Australian Digital Health Agency is currently working with aged care healthcare provider organisations to connect and use My Health Record to ensure timely and connected care.
When healthcare services are connected through digital health tools, healthcare providers and authorised aged care staff have immediate access to a client's key health information. This connected healthcare will support aged care organisations to ensure that their clients receive better continuity of care. My Health Record empowers clients and their carers to share their medical information securely with related health professionals, ensuring they can receive timely treatment.
