Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
- We (Kineo) as a service provider to the Australian Digital Health Agency and/or the System Operator of the My Health Record system collect your personal information from you including your name, email address, state, postcode, and healthcare setting and discipline area. We may also collect other personal information that you provide during registration or if you choose to undertake the voluntary survey at the end of this course. The collection and use of your personal information is authorised or permitted under the My Health Records Act 2012 and/or the Privacy Act 1988.
- We need the information we collect to verify your identity to allow you to log into the training, to generate a completion certificate and to contact you regarding the training, any further training opportunities or for other communication purposes. We will also use some of your personal information for reporting purposes to improve the training, such as identifying certain disciplines that are not using the module. We may use any answers that you provide in the voluntary survey for the purpose of improving the training in the future.
- Without your information, we will not be able to verify your identity and you will need to restart your training each time you begin a session until it is completed. We will also not be able to contact you or improve the training to benefit your understanding of the My Health Record system.
